“Vista Alegre was one of my first real estate projects on the beautiful island of Ibiza, and it holds a special place in my heart. The plot offered stunning views of the southwest coast, making it ideal for a luxury project. It was also a pivotal time in my career, transitioning from fashion to interior design, a change that shaped the years to come.
Collaborating with architect Álvaro González de la Fuente, the project proved to be more complex than expected. While selecting materials and finishes was important, the real challenge lay in navigating the building process, securing approvals, negotiating with legal teams, and managing financing. Creating a home was about more than aesthetics; it was about managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
What began as a focus on colors and textures evolved into a four-year journey. I learned valuable lessons in problem-solving, decision-making, and handling unexpected challenges. Each setback became an opportunity to grow and refine my approach, building the confidence to manage larger, more complex projects in the future.
Looking back, Vista Alegre is not only a successful project (it sold on the same day it was completed) but also a defining experience. It taught me the importance of trust in the development process and the need to create spaces that reflect the unique story of the client. The final product may seem effortless, but it’s the result of years of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to delivering a seamless experience. At Studio MILO, we pride ourselves on turning each client’s vision into a harmonious and beautiful reality.”
