Primerose Hill House, London

Nestled in the heart of Primrose Hill, this 1830s Grade II listed terraced property underwent an extensive two-year transformation under the architectural and interior guidance of Studio MILO. The project was a careful balance of preservation and innovation, with every design element thoughtfully crafted to maintain the home’s historical integrity while introducing modern luxury.

The architectural approach paid homage to the property’s original charm, particularly through the meticulous restoration of key period features. The iconic original flooring was painstakingly preserved and integrated into the new design, offering a tactile connection to the past. This was complemented by the installation of opulent Italian marble floors, creating a striking contrast between the traditional and the contemporary.

A standout feature of the home is the period-style conservatory, which was fully overhauled to enhance its historical character while adapting it for modern living. The delicate balance of restoring original elements with sophisticated updates resulted in a space that feels both timeless and fresh. Studio MILO worked to carefully integrate new windows, structural elements, and detailing while ensuring the aesthetic and structural integrity of the space was maintained.
