Studio MILO, under the artistic direction of Arianna Crosetta, has designed an architectural project that embodies a bold and refined vision, transforming the space into a bright and welcoming sanctuary. The concept behind the intervention envisions a total white environment, characterized by large glass surfaces that open onto an internal terrace, creating a fluid dialogue between interior and exterior. The result is a space reminiscent of an art gallery, designed to enhance an eclectic collection of designer furniture, contemporary artworks, sculptures, and iconic objects.
The entrance, clad in custom-designed fluted wood paneling, comes alive with pop culture references, featuring evocative photographs of music icons such as David Bowie and Lou Reed, punk reinterpretations of Queen Elizabeth, Sicilian ceramic vases, and works by urban artists like KAWS. Among the most recognizable elements, a glossy Balloon Dog by Jeff Koons stands out, adding a touch of irony and brilliance to the space.
The living area is distinguished by a sophisticated mix of colors and materials: pink Arflex armchairs, a green velvet sofa, and a precious hand-knotted Persian rug from the late 19th century. This element, rich in history and significance, becomes a focal point of the space, evoking memories and emotional connections.
One of the most iconic elements of the entire project is undoubtedly the pink onyx kitchen, celebrating the charm of this shade with a scenographic effect of great impact. A space that seamlessly blends aesthetics and functionality, elegantly defining the distinctive character of the intervention signed by Studio MILO.
