Bosco Verticale, Milan

You find yourself on the 23rd floor of a towering skyscraper, surrounded by trees that create a sensation of living among the clouds. The Vertical Forest (Bosco Verticale) at Porta Nuova in Milan, designed by architect Stefano Boeri, is truly remarkable.

This apartment is situated in the taller of the two towers, filled with trees often used as a backdrop for photos by tourists and passers-by. On one side, you can overlook Piazza Gae Aulenti, while on the other, the Isola district unfolds. On clear days, the Alps can even be seen on the horizon. This area is among the trendiest and most popular in the new Milan.

The team’s work caught the homeowners’ attention, featuring prominently in the pages of an international magazine. Subsequent to a series of phone calls and the presentation of mood boards to convey the project’s vision, they promptly set to work. The four-month restyling endeavor yielded impressive results.

The three-hundred-square-meter flat boasts an open space with a large living room and dining area, a kitchen separated by a purpose-designed sliding door from Studio MILO, and three bedrooms. Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows, soft curtains, and lush vegetation introduced by Arianna and Federica where it was lacking. They covered full-height wardrobes in the entrance hallway with foliage wallpaper, making subtle yet impactful changes.

The result is a sophisticated and harmonious fusion of styles that breathe new life into the residence.
