Nestled in vibrant Battersea Park, just minutes from the Thames, this three-story home is a sanctuary for Elena and Federico, a young Italian couple in banking, and their baby, Giorgio. With ample natural light from three sides, Studio MILO led a full refurbishment, crafting a contemporary yet cozy family space.
A striking ribbon motif runs throughout, expressed in minimalist Valerie Objects wall lights and a pendant over the stained black dining table. The open-plan living area is anchored by a Saba Pixel sofa, separating the conversation zone from the TV area, where a hidden screen blends into Anaglypta 3D wallpaper. An elegant bay window features two statement Cassina chairs, an &Tradition coffee table, and a bold Darren Almond painting, adding depth and energy.
The dining area includes a quilted custom bench and Gallotti & Radice chairs, while the powder-grey kitchen overlooks a private garden with a charming bistro nook, accented by mustard tones and a coral aluminum table. A nearby cloakroom, clad in English 3D-effect Sbagliata wallpaper, serves as a stylish guest bathroom.
Upstairs, a gradient green stair runner leads to a dark green-ceilinged corridor. The master bedroom, with a bay window, features a custom-upholstered headboard acting as a divider and mirrored wardrobes enhancing light and space. The ensuite boasts hexagonal marble tiles, brass fixtures, and Tooy lighting, completing this refined yet playful home.
